In Niada’s words: With my husband, Corey, and girls (Jamari and Amaya) we documented our life events. Our love of Photography keeps us on trails less traveled than most across the Carolinas. As self taught Photographers, this vision has allowed us to open up and share our life through a lens with others. From our first meeting as an Optometric Technician over an eye exam in February 2004 to marriage June, 2004, we knew our relationship was a leap of faith only the Lord could have put together. Over the last few years we have paid close attention to the artistic details behind our images which brought about the development of Niada Cradle Photography LLC in January 2014.
Today we talk about running a sustainable business, planting seeds for your business, and knowing WHY you’re running your business in the first place.

Top 3 Tips From the Interview:
1. Constantly plant seeds for your business.
Partner with businesses in your area to help your own business grow. Connecting and bartering with, and providing services to floral shops, beauty shops, restaurants, and other photographers, etc, can pay off in the long run in terms of referrals for you if they share your same target audience.
2. Know WHY you’re running your business.
Understanding your motivation and purpose behind your actions will help drive your business forward. If you don’t have a mission statement, write one immediately. Knowing why you’re doing what you’re doing will help steer you in the right direction over the years.
3. Ask yourself if your business is sustainable.
This is a basic, yet often overlooked question. Undercharging for your services is NOT a sustainable model for your business. Your bank account will inevitably suffer. If you want to stay in business for the long term, you need to know your numbers and charge enough for you live on.
